Passion

Passion's wings sail god-like
Over an ocean of whispers.
Talk to me, go with me, move with me
Like the currents of the wind or
The currents of the waves below.
Moving in, moving out,
Taking and giving in the
Dance of millenniums.
Cooling and warming until the
Now-moist air rises beneath the wing,
Driving passion higher, higher still.
What visions are made at this height,
Born aloft on the pulsing rhythm of
The Earth, like a heartbeat but bolder,
Like a wing flap but broader.
A vision of the greater life, greater joy
To be had when sailing on
Passion's wings.
